The state of local business is highly dependent on the state of their local economies. Although a case can be made about the nature of the economy on the ABC islands, one thing stands out; their ever increasing dependence on tourism. In essence, it can be said that the economy of all three islands are in a state of transition, especially 2020 when COVID changed the foundational fabric of societies worldwide.
